BOOKING FACILITIES AT THE ISLAMIC CENTRE OF CANADA (ICC)

To book the facilities for any event, follow steps below

  1. Refer to the ICC Reservation Timing and Fee Schedule
  2. Check the availability of facillity for the event and day you need.  Contact Br. Ilyas (Ext. 305), OR Sr. Seema (Ext. 222) or send an email to iccrental@isnacanada.com
  3. Visit the facilities, if desired.
  4. Complete the ICC Social Activity form and pay applicable deposit.  Obtain a confirmation notice from our office.
  5. A few days prior to the even booking, you will be contacted by our office.

NOTE: Unless it is an emergency, we require a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) advance notice to arrange bookings.

PARKING AT THE ISLAMIC CENTRE OF CANADA (ICC) 

  1. Please FORM A CAR POOL.  Parking is available for 292 cars, on a first come first serve basis.
  2. Please bring your own prayer mat in case you have to pray in place other than the masjid areas. Please also come prepared with wudu.
  3. There will be NO UNAUTHORISED soliciting, flyers, sales or fundraising.
  4. NO PARKING on fire routes, streets or neighbours parking lots. Please note that any vehicles parked on along the designated Fire Route shall be ticketed by the City of Mississauga. The ICC does not accept any liability or responsibility for tickets issued by the City.

ADVERTISEMENT / LEAFLET DISTRIBUTION POLICY (Click to view)

Distribution of ALL materials from organizations (that are external to ISNA Canada) shall be in accordance with the following:

  1. A copy of the materials must be emailed (operations@isnacanada.com) or physically submitted at the head office reception area for approval,
  2. Materials must be submitted for approval at least five days in advance of distribution date,
  3. A maximum of two individuals (for  any individual distribution request) may hand out materials on premises,
  4. The distribution shall be for  a maximum of TWO consecutive juma  prayer timings,
  5. Distributers must ensure they are not standing or blocking any high traffic areas of cars/people,
  6. Materials are to be personally handed to people,
  7. No materials shall be posted up on walls,  pillars, doors or left on tables,
  8. No materials shall be posted on any vehicles in the car park,
  9. Any surplus flyers, cards and distribution materials must be removed from the premises promptly.
  10. No samples of food items shall be distributed on the premises without prior management approval.
  11. Any organisation seeking pledges/donations must be a registered charity in Canada and provide current registration details.
  12. Management reserves the right to final approval and changes to the above.

Note: We do not distribute flyers on behalf of individuals or external organizations.  It is solely the responsibility of the requester.

BULLETIN BOARD POSTING POLICY

Posting of ALL materials from organizations (that are external to ISNA Canada) shall be in accordance with the following:

  1. A copy of the materials must be emailed (operations@isnacanada.com) or physically submitted at the head office reception area for approval,
  2. Materials must be submitted for approval at least three days in advance of posting date,
  3. A maximum of two flyers or posters (upto 8.5" x 11") shall be accepted and posted on each of the large bulleting (cork) boards.
  4. There is a small fee payable (enquire at office reception) for private advertisements.  Fees for Not for Profit organizations may be waived.
  5. The postings shall be for  a maximum of four consequetive weeks.
  6. Any unauthorised posting shall be removed.
Management reserves the right to final approval and changes to the above.
